Sneetch

This week's DrawerGeeks subject was star bellied sneetches. I love Dr. Seuss' style, and I tried to mess with it a bit.(I had some realy crass ideas but i decided against those).

I had a few drawings before this one, however they did not have the stupid expression on the face of the character which I feel adds quite a lot. Look for yourself and tell me what you think!

Here are some more recent sketches. I have been trying to get a bit of energy in my drawings while still maintaining the feature film aspect ratio.















I have also been drawing from Disney character style guides and character sheets. So fantastic, these designs blow me away, such a pleasure to study from them.
















I attended the San Francisco sketchcrawl this last weekend, and it was great! We started at the Ferry Building and walked up the embarcadero to Fisherman's Wharf and then over to the Walton Square. It was great to see so many sketchers and to meet a few new people. Here are some sketches from the day
