A weekend sketchcrawl

I had an opportunity this weekend to join some friends and go on a sketching trip to Sausalito via the ferry. It was my first time on the fairy and I had a blast. I met a lot of talented artists and made new friends. Here are the sketches that came out of that little adventure...

hey, I found your blog! Your drawings are amazing, if I hadn't seen them myself I wouldn't believe that they didn't have an underdrawing or ANYTHING... but as it is, I'm baffled and in awe.

Do you figure out where things are going to go ahead of time, or do you just start with one doodle and expand from there?

Thanks everyone!
Hi Emma! Usually start with a small doodle with some space around it, then another doodle, then some space, etc. I try to make it as clear and simple as I can. Still have lots of simplicity and composition to learn... but its fun!
